Dr. Kaufer is a very experienced, board certified ophthalmic surgeon utilizing the latest techniques in cataract and anterior segment surgery. He is happy to call Tucson his home with his wife Marion (a professional photographer) and four children. He is trilingual (English, Spanish, and German) and possesses the characteristics and expertise in a physician, which will place quality patient care above all else. In addition to his medical training, he has a master’s degree in engineering from Stanford University, worked at the Boeing Corporation as an aeronautical engineer, is a certified single engine and glider pilot, and a rowing champion. |
